Pratibha Thaker leads The Economist Intelligence Unit's Middle East and Africa team and is also the overall manager of the other regional teams. She is responsible for establishing a clear vision of objectives, activities and products that will add value for stakeholders. Directly managing a large pool of external contributors and an in-house team of regional and country specialists, Pat provides the intellectual leadership necessary to ensure that the EIU's analysis and forecasts for the Middle Eastern and African markets are the most insightful available to international decision-makers. This involves overseeing analysis, research and modelling for governments, corporations, NGOs and foundations around the world.
